Announcing this year's Partners in Philanthropy honorees.

PHILADELPHIA BUSINESS JOURNAL

Each year the Philadelphia Business Journal recognizes impactful partnerships between two organizations that are benefiting the Greater Philadelphia community. For 2024, we are recognizing 25 such partnerships that are supporting an array of causes like food insecurity, education, literacy, workforce development and health care.

An annual special publication previously known as Faces of Philanthropy, the newly rebranded Partners in Philanthropy predominately recognizes the partnerships between for-profit businesses and nonprofit organizations, while also considering the impact between two nonprofits, particularly foundations supporting the work of local entities.

To determine this year's list, we sought nominations from the public, receiving more than five dozen. Our editorial board reviewed each partnership, taking into consideration the scope of the relationship and the impact of the work on the community such as the amount of money donated to a cause, the number of volunteer hours served, as well as the number of people who benefited from the partnership.

To be considered, the organizations involved must have a presence within Greater Philadelphia.

We'll celebrate all 25 of these partnerships at an event at Rivers Casino on April 11 and in a special edition of the Business Journal publishing April 12. Individual tickets for the event will go on sale March 21.
