These are the Philadelphia Business Journal's Best Real Estate Deals of the year.

Each year the Philadelphia Business Journal honors the Best Real Estate Deals in Greater Philadelphia, including the people behind them.

The projects and transactions that will be honored as part of our 2025 Best Real Estate Deals program span a wide range of categories that include top office sales in both the city and suburbs, industrial leases, apartment developments, and sales of higher education and health care properties.

More than 40 projects will being honored as the Best Real Estate Deals of 2025.

To determine this year’s list, we sought nominations from the public and considered notable projects that were not nominated. In total, we received dozens of submissions for projects and deals throughout the region.

Honorees were selected by an outside panel of judges with oversight from our editorial board. This year’s judges are:

  • Brad Boone, brokerage professional, KBC Advisors

  • David Dobkin, managing director, head of acquisitions, Parkway Corp.

  • Samantha Kupersmith, senior director, JLL Capital Markets

  • Sarah Maginnis, executive director, NAIOP Greater Philadelphia

The projects below have been judged among the year's best, but where they rank and in what category won’t be revealed until a March 26 event at Tendenza by Cescaphe. At the event, we’ll also announce which of the projects has been selected as the Deal of the Year.

All honorees will be profiled in a special print edition of the Business Journal on March 27.
