Mapping Wayne Junction’s redevelopment boom: A brewery, offices, apartments, and more are in the works for this neighborhood

For the past few years, developer Ken Weinstein of PhillyOfficeRetail has been quietly purchasing properties all around Wayne Junction Station in Northwest Philly. Yesterday, Weinstein revealed his $12 million-plus plans to turn all seven properties into a transformative mixed-use development complete with a brewery/distillery, restaurants, apartments, offices, and retail.

In total, 122,581 square feet of old buildings and vacant lots will be redeveloped. Construction is expected to begin in early 2018, with the first tenants moving in by 2019... more.
