Edison Square Shopping Center opens for Business at 7th and Lehigh Avenue in North Philadelphia

The transformation of the first phase of the former Thomas Edison High School site into a community shopping center and housing development is complete. The $13-million first phase consists of nearly 37,000-square-feet of retail space. The center is 100 percent leased, anchored by Save-A-Lot food stores. Other key tenants include Family Dollar, Kicks, Little Caesars, Burger King and Edison Pharmacy.
